A graduate of New Era University and Philippine School of Interior Design, Eduardo Roy, Jr. returns to Cinemalaya 2013 with his second feature-length film. Quick Change was preceded by the successes and achievements of his firstrst film Bahay Bata (Baby Factory) in 2011 which received numerous awards and recognitions. It was nominated as Best Film at the Young Critics Circle 2012. Global recognitions include Special Mention, Vancouver International Film Festival in Canada, Grand Jury Award, Deauville Asian Film Festival 2012 in France, Blue Chameleon Award, Cinema Digital Seoul Film Festival 2012 in Korea, and as Best Director Jose Rivero Award at Las Palmas Film Festival 2012 in Spain. Aside from writing and directing, Roy also produced the short film “Victor” which won Best Film – New Breed Shorts at Cinemalaya 2012.
