Cinemalaya Goes To UP Diliman

 

 

The recently concluded 6th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition will move over to the UP Film Center’s Cine Adarna in Diliman where it will run from July 20 to 30.  The event, which is billed Cinemalaya Goes U.P. 6 , will feature only the films that competed in the New Breed (full length category), Short Feature Category and the Directors Showcase of the Cinemalaya Film Festival and CompetitionCinemalaya Goes to UP 6 is a presentation of the UP Cineastes’ Studio and Abracadabra in partnership with the UP Film institute and in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Cinemalaya Foundation. 

 

The Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition, which was held at the CCP on July 9-18, is a competitive all digital film festival that aims to discover, encourage and honor the cinematic works of Filipino filmmakers and seeks to invigorate the Philippine film industry by developing a new breed of Filipino filmmakers.
