15 years ago today, ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank’ premiered at Cinemalaya.

Directed by Marlon Rivera and written by Chris Martinez, this satirical comedy follows three film school grads hell-bent on creating an Oscar-worthy poverty film, only to expose the absurdities and pretensions of indie filmmaking.
