Will there be a Festival Pass?

Please be advised that there will be no Festival Pass this year. Instead, bundle deals, and other promotions will be available for purchase onsite at participating cinemas.

Can we avail the Balanghai Pass now at Shangri-La Plaza Cinema or Gateway Cinema?

The Balanghai Pass will be available starting August 7, Friday. Please note that Balangahai Pass can be availed of upon purchase of Cinemalaya T-shirt at the CCP-Cinemalaya Merch at Red Carpet- Shangrila and Gateway.

When can we start buying the Cinemalaya Deals and Premiere Patrons?

The Cinemalaya Deals and Premiere Patrons package and other festival promotions will be available for purchase during the festival week.

Am I still eligible for the PWD discount on top of my student ticket?

Only one (1) valid discount may be applied per ticket. Student and PWD discounts cannot be combined.

Can I avail of discounts online?

Student, Senior Citizen, and PWD discounts are available onsite at the ticket booth, as valid IDs must be verified upon purchase.

Are Cinemalaya Bundles & Packages eligible for student or PWD discounts?

No. Bundles and Packages are not eligible for additional student, senior citizen, or PWD discounts.

Are there other payment options for online ticket purchases, such as Gash, Maya, or debit/credit cards?

Yes. Available payment methods vary depending on the cinema’s online ticketing platform.

Will there be screening venues outside Metro Manila for regional filmgoers?

The Cinemalaya 22 Film Competition entries will be screened exclusively at the following Metro Manila venues from August 6-18, 2026:

• Shangri-La Plaza
• Gateway Mall Cineplex
• Ayala Malls Manila Bay
• Ayala Malls Circuit
• Ayala Malls Market! Market!
• Ayala Malls Glorietta
• Ayala Malls Trinoma

Are the opening and closing films open to the public or is it strictly invitational?

The Opening Film is FREE ADMISSION on a first-come, first-served basis. The Closing Film is open to the public through paid ticket purchase, with tickets available during the festival.
