Elijah Canlas Speaks Out on Male-to-Male Abuse in Cinemalaya 2025 Film “Raging”
Actor Elijah Canlas has spoken boldly about the issue of male-to-male abuse, the central theme of his upcoming Cinemalaya 2025 film, "Raging."
"'Di nata-tackle masyado 'yung male-to-male abuse sa pelikula kaya nu'ng nalaman ko na tungkol dito 'yung kwento, may mga experience din ako about it. And also, marami akong kaibigan na pinagdaanan 'to. Kaya importante ang kwento na ‘to para sa akin personally," he expressed during an interview with The Philippine STAR.
Set in the 1990s on Sibuyan Island, the narrative centers on a young boy’s attempt to navigate life after getting abused.
